About the role
As a senior researcher and project manager at IVL, you are expected to both develop research applications and services to authorities and companies, and implement these together with many different competences within IVL and from external partners. You will work with an emphasis on marine low trophic level aquaculture and/or developing sustainable management of Swedish mussel and oyster populations.
Your background
To succeed in the role:
- PhD in aquaculture or marine biology.
- At least 5 years of post-doctoral work experience, experience in project development and implementation as researcher or consultant.
- Broad knowledge and experience in the field, both practical and theoretical, and interest in interdisciplinary work.
- You must be able to express yourself well in speech and writing in English and it is an advange if you master Swedish or another Scandinavian language.
- You should be able to independently write research applications and tenders and lead projects from start to finish.
