IVL in India

IVL Swedish Environmental Research Institute has been active in India since 1970, working on sustainability‑related projects in collaboration with both public and private actors.

IVL’s operations in Mumbai include a team of approximately 60 employees working on projects within areas such as water treatment, infrastructure, and waste management. IVL’s work in India is guided by a clear vision of a sustainable society and is characterised by a broad environmental profile.
